Excellent selection and service!

Just received my order of vintage champagne and some rare varietals. The quality is incredible, truly cellar-aged wines. Their selection of exclusive producer imports is fantastic. The order was processed quickly and delivered securely. I am definitely ordering from them again for our next special event. Highly recommend for anyone needing top-tier fine wines!

Easy to get what I needed

So, I needed some specific old world classics for a new wine list we're putting together. The Wine Trust website was pretty straightforward, found what I wanted without much fuss. The pricing for our hospitality group was applied automatically, which was nice. Delivery took about a week to reach our place in California. Everything arrived in good shape, no broken bottles or anything. Felt like a solid purchase.

Smooth experience for our wine program

We recently placed a significant order for our hospitality wine program, including several limited edition vintages and some grand cru selections. The ordering process through our wholesale portal was very efficient; I could easily apply our volume pricing. Communication regarding the lead time for restaurant deliveries was clear, and they even offered a new account credit which was a pleasant surprise. The temperature-controlled shipment arrived perfectly, protecting the delicate terroir-driven wines. Everything was well-packed, and the provenance-guaranteed bottles were exactly as advertised. It helps future planning to know what to expect with these kinds of specialty imports.

Reliable for restaurant stock

This is my fourth order with The Wine Trust for our restaurant inventory. They're consistently good. The Burgundy collectibles I got this time were exactly as described, just like the Bordeaux library wines last quarter. Shipping always goes smoothly, and their selection is hard to beat for provenance. It's why I keep coming back for our special list items.

Trying to set up a new restaurant. Do they offer any kind of first-time discount or credit for new accounts?

A Ashley B. 4 weeks ago
They do offer new account credit sometimes, and definitely hospitality group rates. You'd have to reach out to their sales team.

Yeah, they have 'new account credit' as one of their deals. It's not a public coupon code though, you gotta talk to them directly.

How do they handle shipping for temperature-sensitive wines, especially in summer?

L Linda Phillips 1 month ago
They do temperature-controlled shipments. That's a must for fine wine, especially when it's hot out. They don't just send it regular UPS.

L Linda Wright 1 month ago
Pretty sure they use specialized carriers for temp control. It's part of their whole 'provenance' and fine wine thing.

Hey, wondering if The Wine Trust ships to every state? I'm in Colorado and trying to find a good source for some Burgundy stuff.

M Matt B. 3 weeks ago
I think they do most states for wholesale, but definitely worth checking their site or contacting them directly for specific details on CO.

They're a wholesaler, so it's more about business accounts. They probably ship wherever their restaurant and retail clients are.

Can I, like, just buy a few bottles for my home cellar, or is it only for businesses?

S Sandra 1 month ago
Nah, they're pretty much B2B. Restaurants, retailers, that kind of thing. You usually can't buy individual bottles as a private person from them.

J Jacob Sanchez 1 month ago
Pretty sure they don't sell to individuals. They're an importer/wholesaler, so it's usually case quantities for businesses.

Anyone compared The Wine Trust with Skurnik or Kermit Lynch? What's the main difference in their selection?

B Barbara Lopez 1 week ago
The Wine Trust often has more exclusive producer imports, especially for certain regions. Skurnik and KL are great too, but sometimes TWT gets stuff no one else does.

S Sarah Evans 1 week ago
I find The Wine Trust really shines with older, more collectible stuff and unique small-batch producers. The others are strong too, but TWT has some rare gems you won't see elsewhere.
